HOW IT WORKS

The Luxion Laser utilizes specific wave lengths that target the melanin in your hair follicle. The thermal destruction of the follicle will leave the surrounding tissue unharmed. The laser thermal transfer into the growth cells can only occur when your hair follicle is in its growth phase and attached to the growth cells. This growth phase in called the Anagen Phase. Since all hair follicles are not in the Anagen phase at the same time. Multiple treatments are required. As your treatment sessions progress you will notice more and more clearance of hair follicles. Most clients will require 6 sessions for clearance. 6-10 sessions are typical.

Treatments are relatively quick. The size of the area will dictate the required time. Large areas could take 30 minutes or so. While small areas like upper lip or under arms could take less than 5-10 minutes. It is best to allow for a bit more time for your first session though. You will likely have questions for your provider and your provider will likely have questions for you. Test spots will be performed, and this could add slightly to the time of your session.
